Carlos Urrutia
Carlos Urrutia is a third-year doctoral candidate in Health Psychology at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. His research focuses on the adoption and perception of multimodal, AI-based distress detection technologies for cancer patients and survivors. He also investigates digital solutions to address communication challenges between ICU caregivers and clinical teams. Previously, he conducted a randomized clinical trial on a positive psychotherapeutic group intervention for cancer survivors as part of his master's thesis at Universidad de la República (Uruguay).
