Ashleigh R Sharman
Ashleigh is a mixed-methods researcher at The Leeder Centre for Health Policy, Economics & Data (University of Sydney) and Survivorship Fellow (Financial Toxicity) with the Clinical Oncology Society of Australia (COSA). Her areas of interest include investigating financial burden and supportive care needs of people affected by cancer through a policy lens.
A research affiliate at comprehensive cancer centre Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, much of her previous experience has involved exploring the survivorship needs of head and neck cancer survivors and their caregivers. Ashleigh is managing editor of Health Literacy & Communication Open (Taylor & Francis) and an active member of the Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer (MASCC).
