Chihtao Cheng
Dr. Chih-Tao Cheng (Don), M.D., DrPH, is a psychiatrist and public health expert specializing in psycho-oncology and health services research. He currently serves as Director of the Department of Psychiatry and Palliative Care and Deputy Director of Research at Koo Foundation Sun Yat-Sen Cancer Center in Taiwan. He is also an Associate Professor at the National Defense University and has been the President of the Taiwan Psycho-Oncology Society since 2021.
Dr. Cheng earned his medical degree from National Taiwan University and his Doctor of Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley. He has undergone international training at institutions such as Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and the University of Melbourne. Certified in both psychiatry and public health, he has authored several peer-reviewed publications on cancer survivorship, psychological adjustment, and quality of life in cancer patients.
