Jianping Long

Director of the Third Breast Department and Head of the Surgical Teaching and Research Section at Gansu Provincial Maternal and Child Health Hospital (Gansu Provincial Central Hospital), Chief Physician. In 2011, she went to the Breast Center and Tumor Center of the Integrated Hospital of the University of Siena in Italy for specialized research and training in early breast cancer screening and comprehensive tumor treatment. In 2012, she visited and studied at Changi Hospital and KK Women's and Children's Hospital in Singapore. She specializes in the comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant breast diseases, individualized precision diagnosis and treatment and whole-process management of breast cancer, diagnosis and treatment of difficult breast cases, standardized treatment of advanced breast cancer, breast cancer screening and breast nodule management. She is proficient in various surgeries for benign and malignant breast tumors: breast-conserving surgery for breast cancer, radical mastectomy, sentinel lymph node biopsy, post-mastectomy breast reconstruction and repair surgery (stage I/II breast reconstruction, prosthesis/autologous breast reconstruction, fat transplantation, etc.), minimally invasive breast surgery, reduction mammoplasty, etc. She has presided over and participated in 6 scientific research projects, and published more than 10 papers in core journals and 6 SCI papers.
