Philip Odiyo
Philip Odiyo Ouma currently serves as Country Lead for A Fresh Chapter in Kenya. A Fresh Chapter is a United States Based non-profit organization that deals with emotional empowerment for cancer patients and their caregivers in Kenya and United States. Philip is past Director for International Psych-Oncology Society representing Africa at the Board (2019-2023). He has presented in several international meetings in Rotterdam (2013), Lisbon (2014) and Berlin (2017). Miami (2021), Phoenix (2022) Budapest (2022) among others.
He is a reviewer in the following Journals: The Breast Journal, Supportive Care in Cancer, e-Cancer Journal and Psycho-Oncology: Journal of Psychological, Social, and behavioural dimensions of cancer, Journal of Sexual Medicine among others. He is currently Vice Chair Kenyan Network of Cancer Organizations, Vice President. Psycho-oncology Society of Africa, Lead. He is currently pursuing his PhD at Erasmus Medical University in Rotterdam Netherlands.
