Seshani Iddawela

Seshani Iddawela is a third-year medical student at Monash University, currently completing placement at Latrobe Regional Health in Traralgon. A member of the Extended Rural Cohort, she is passionate about rural health, health equity, and preventative medicine. Seshani is actively involved in research and student initiatives focused on global health and she is the host of the Australian Medical Students Association's podcast. Inspired by her regional placement, she hopes to pursue a career that combines clinical care with advocacy, helping bridge healthcare gaps in underserved communities across Victoria.
