Rishav Dr. Koirala
Dr. Rishav Koirala, currently Executive Director at Brain And Neuroscience Center Nepal, is a psychiatrist and researcher. He has over a decade of extensive clinical and research experience. He pioneered the work in Psycho-oncology in Nepal by establishing the first psycho-oncology unit in Nepal Cancer Hospital and Research center in 2016. Further he expanded the psycho-oncology clinics in 2 other centers, National Cancer Hospital and Kathmandu Cancer Center with a team of psychiatrists. He has been actively promoting psycho-oncology in national and international oncology conferences and events. He has significantly contributed to national and international publications and guidelines, including the Cross-cutting Cultural Review for DSM 5-TR and psycho-oncology research.
