Eleanor G Wilson
I am a PhD candidate and research assistant at The Daffodil Centre, a joint venture between the University of Sydney and Cancer Council NSW. My thesis explores the implementation and adaptation of a text message-based program designed to support women recovering from breast cancer, within a community organisation setting.
I am passionate about ensuring that research doesn't just remain in academic circles but is effectively translated and implemented in the real world. I believe that research should directly impact the communities that need it most, through improving services, shaping policy, or enhancing communication strategies.
